Need-Based Financial Aid

As part of our commitment to reach the most students, we offer need-based scholarships to qualifying individuals. Admissions decisions are need-blind. Once you are admitted to the university, we will work with you to figure out how to best fund your education. As an institution with limited resources, Future Generations University is unable to provide full-ride scholarships. Though many students do receive substantial need-based awards, all students are expected to contribute financially to their education. The process works as follows:

After admission to the master’s program, you will be given the opportunity to fill out a need-based financial aid application. Along with that application, you will be asked to provide supporting documentation that the Financial Aid Committee will use to determine your financial aid award.

After the Financial Aid Committee has reviewed your application and your supporting documentation, you will receive a Financial Aid Award Letter outlining the amount and terms of your award. At that point, you can accept the award by digitally signing the letter, or you can appeal to the Financial Aid Committee. An appeal should be made within 72 hours and include an explanation of why you would like the award to be reconsidered and additional documentation to support your claim. The Financial Aid Committee will consider your appeal and make a decision to revise your award or leave the award unchanged. That decision is final.

Your Financial Aid Award letter will include instructions on how to pay tuition to the University as well as options for payment plans.

Students who choose not to apply for need-based aid will receive payment instructions and options with their first invoice.

Federal Financial Aid

Future Generations University is a Title IV school.  As such, US citizens and legal residents are eligible to apply for federal financial aid in the form of federal loans. To apply, first fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once that is done, reach out to the Registrar to be put in touch with our third-party federal financial aid servicer.
