PRC 603 – Monitoring & Evaluation
As people, we are inclined to be moved and convinced by anecdotal evidence – a good story that proves the efficacy of any given method. But the proof must be in the pudding, or, as is the case with all meaningful change – it must be born out in the numbers, the data. This course humanizes what can otherwise be an overwhelming system of data collection and analysis. You’ll learn to simplify, synthesize, and analyze complex data in order to tell the story of and monitor the success of just and lasting change.

Tom Hammett has 40 years’ experience with non-timber forest products (NTFPs), researching means to improve landowner and entrepreneur livelihoods through production, processing, and marketing of speciality agricultural products.
