Biography

Raj Masih serves as the Lead Coordinator for the West Virginia State Opioid Response Regional Coordinators Program, guiding statewide overdose reduction and behavioral health initiatives. With over 19 years in medicine and public health, he focuses on integrating wearable technology, remote patient monitoring, and just-in-time peer support to enhance care for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.

He is pioneering efforts to capture unreported overdoses through a QR code system and advancing overdose predictive modeling and targeted interventions to prevent fatalities. Certified by the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist, Dr. Masih combines clinical expertise, technology, and innovation to improve public health outcomes across West Virginia and beyond.
