Biography
Luke Taylor-Ide serves as Interim President & CEO of Future Generations University based in Pendleton County, WV. He has twenty years of experience working to foster partnership with communities, policymakers, as well as academic and technical experts. Taylor-Ide has led multi-year assignments in Afghanistan, India, and Nepal. After serving many communities abroad and earning his graduate degree from Harvard University, Taylor-Ide returned to his childhood home in Pendleton to start Future Generations University’s Appalachian program from 2013-2019. He served as vice president of Community Engagement from 2020-2025 where he led the University’s global network of action research and alumni engagement.
He is co-founder and president of the Pendleton County Farmers Market as well as a founding trustee of the Pendleton Community Foundation.
